Equinote: Transcending Boundaries Through Music and Culture

Equinote is bringing music to children who have been displaced from their homes. Equinote is visiting shelters and hotels in Jerusalem, Ashkelon, Tiberius, Herzliya, and the Dead Sea. Roughly 20% of the children in shelters have special needs, and Equinote is a calm, understanding presence to parents and children who are away from their routines. They offer much needed music therapy, conducting workshops on healing sounds and releasing trauma through music and play.

Grilling for Israel: Steak, Lamb and a Side of Inspiration 

In the first three years of its operations, Grilling for Israel organized 126 events and served an impressive 11,000 meals. But it was after October 7, when the organization truly found its stride. In just two months, they have provided an astounding 87,000 meals, demonstrating the incredible need of this initiative, the growth of the volunteer base, and the commitment of generous donors.

HaGal Sheli’s Transformative Journey

HaGal Sheli combines surfing and youth education to empower at-risk youth in Israel. The organization focuses on building life skills and resilience through therapeutic interactions with the sea and surfing. In response to the Iron Swords War, HaGal Sheli has launched emergency programs to help young people cope with post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety.

Yad L’Olim: Supporting Olim Before, During and After the War

Dov Lipman, the founder of Yad L’Olim and former Member of Knesset, prioritizes aiding immigrants in Israel, derived from his upbringing in community service. Yad L’Olim broadened its efforts during recent the Iron Swords War, providing relief and mental health support to affected communities. With rising antisemitism globally, Yad L’Olim foresees increased immigration and is raising $500,000 in 2024 to continue its substantial support efforts.
