“Civil society has been incredible. But at a certain point the motivated individual runs out of money for donations or has to return to work or school. When that happens, the well established organizations need to step in. We understand that when that day comes we’ll need to fill that void.”
Despite the challenges, Nevo Dor and Hashomer HaChadash remain resolute in their mission. Their primary objective is clear: to rescue farmers, salvage their farms, and secure the nation’s food supply. But their aspirations go beyond survival—they aim to inspire a new generation deeply connected to agriculture and the land.
“We want to reach every elderly person and Holocaust survivor who is in need of food and whose condition doesn’t allow them to care for their own basic needs. Even when it means entering regions of heightened danger, our team continues to commit itself to the welfare of those who need our support.”
